Freight Terminal Issue - Request for Information

Following the public meeting attended where ERTA invited key personnel from WH Malcolm to hear the concerns and personal experiences of residents suffering from the overnight and early morning noise nuisance of the frieght terminal we would like to hear from as many effected residents as possible. We would like to present as much information as possible to Stewart Stevenson, the Transport Minister. Please send your information through the "contact us" section.

Strathclyde Police "Have Your Say" Public Consultation

Johnstone Town Hall, Sunday 25th November 2pm-4pm

There will be an opportunity to have your views on Elderslie's policing put on the public record at a meeting in Johnstone later this month. Last year the priority issues across Renfrewshire were tackling antisocial behaviour. Strathclyde Police as a result have launched a series of hard hitting initiatives to tackle the issue - sadly this does appear to extend to antisocial businesses as Elderslie's residents are finding out the hard way.

THE BRAVEHEARTS CONTINUED THEIR IMPRESSIVE FORM INTHIS CENTRAL SCOTTISH LEAGUE MATCH WHEN HERON HILLCOAT AND MC GUIRE ALL HAVING GOOD EFFORTS WELL SAVED BY THE KEEPER AFTER CONSTANT PRESSURE THE BRAVEHEARTS WENT 1 UP WHEN GREAT PLAY FROM MCDADE AND MCNALLY FOUND ROBERT HILLCOAT 20 YARDS OUT TO RIFLE THE BALL INTO THE NET . CUMBERNAULD THEN CAME FORWARD BUT GOOD DEFENDING AND GOALKEEPING FROM PETERS PREVENTED THEM LEVELLING .THE SECOND HALF STARTED BRIGHTLY WITH HERONS SHOT WELL SAVED THEN CUMBERNAULD SHOOK ELDERSLIE WITH A WELL TAKEN GOAL. 5 MINS LATER ELDERSLIE TOOK THE LEAD WHEN ROBERT HILLCOAT CHASED WHICH LOOKED A LOST CAUSE AND PRESSURED THE DEFENDER TO PUT THE BALL OUT FOR A THROW IN MURRAY FOUND MCNALLY WHO SE GREAT PASS FOUND MCDADE 25 YARDS OUT TO BULLET A LEFT FOOT SHOT INTO THE BOTTOM CORNER 10 MINUTES LATER MCGUIRE WAS FOULED OUTSIDE THE BOX AND MCNALLY WITH ONE OF HIS TRADEMARK FREE KICKS FROM 25 YARDS FIRED THE BALL INTO THE TOP LEFT HAND CORNER TO GIVE THE KEEPER NO CHANCE WITH 15 MINS TO GO CUMBERNAULD PULLED ANOTHER BACK WHEN A DEFENSIVE ERROR LET IN THE FORWARD TO COOLY FINISH IT OFF THE BRAVEHEARTS WERE NOW UNDER A BIT OF PRESSURE BUT GREAT DEFENDING AND GOALKEEPING PREVENTED CUMBERNAULD FROM EQUALISING THE BRAVEHEARTS NOW SIT TOP OF THE TABLE AFTER 3 GAMES UNDEFEATED
